Hi from Coping! Coping Inc. (Coping Studios Pty Ltd) runs Coping podcast, community events, creative studio hire and copinginc.com.

Whether you're a podcast listener,  visitor to our site or a regular at our creative studio, your privacy is really important to us. This policy addresses how Coping collects any personal data, who that data may be shared with, and what we do to protect such data.

What information we collect and why

Information you give us directly: When you fill out our contact form or sign up to our newsletter, we collect your name and email. We use this to respond to your questions or send you the newsletter you asked for. 

Information collected automatically: When you visit this website, Squarespace (our hosting platform) and Google Analytics automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you visit on this site, and the website you came from. We use this to understand how people find and use our site so we can improve it.

Who we share your data with

We use Squarespace, Google Analytics and Substack (if you sign up) - each have their own privacy policies.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone outside of the services above.

How long we keep your data

We keep your contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you. Newsletter subscribers' details are held until you unsubscribe. 

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date; ask us to delete your information (in most circumstances).
